Puneet is an experienced Finance Lead with nearly a decade of expertise across corporate finance, internal controls, financial reporting, and tax. His diverse background spans management and financial accounting, internal audit, and corporate finance, enabling him to bring a comprehensive and strategic approach to financial reporting and internal control.
In his current role, Puneet leads ecap’s accounting, financial, and taxation initiatives—ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while leveraging financial data to support the firm’s strategic positioning as an industry leader.
Prior to joining ecap, Puneet led the finance and accounting function for a major poultry enterprise in Nepal, where his expertise in budgeting and cost control played a key role in boosting operational profitability and securing a competitive pricing advantage.
More recently, as an Accounting and Finance Consultant in Dubai, he worked with a range of clients across the UAE to resolve complex accounting and financial reporting challenges. His work enabled these businesses to strengthen their regulatory compliance, streamline reporting, and make more informed, data-driven decisions.
Puneet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, having qualified in 2021.
