Beware of the ‘Influencer’, they might end up influencing you. Recent statistics have demonstrated that 82% of PR and marketing professionals are using influencers in one way or another, with 38% using social media influencers and 21% using bloggers. However, in a survey conducted by Vocus and Brian Solis, 62% of respondents reported that they follow an influencer because of the content they create, rather than the validity or accuracy of the data.
