We’re excited to share a major milestone in our journey: ecap is once again an independent company.

Our founders, Chris Abreu and Daniel Murphy, have completed a Management Buyout (MBO), regaining full ownership and operational control of ecap. This move marks our return to independent operations and opens the door for a new chapter, one driven by sharper focus, greater agility, and a deeper commitment to our mission.

Chris and Daniel originally founded ecap in 2018 with a bold vision to humanise the leadership search process across the Middle East. Since then, we’ve grown into a trusted leadership advisory firm, working with ambitious organisations to assess, hire, and retain exceptional senior talent.

Now, we are coming full circle and reaffirming our dedication to executive search and broadening our specialised services, from rewards and compensation consulting to digitised recruitment processes powered by AI-enabled tools.

“This is a full-circle moment,” said Chris Abreu, Co-Founder and Managing Partner. “We’re proud to be back at the helm of the company we built, with a renewed focus on leadership advisory, innovation, and delivering meaningful value to our clients.”

“ecap remains dedicated to advancing human capital advisory,” said Daniel Murphy. “It’s a natural time for us to pursue our distinct path, and we’re excited to chart our own course from here.”

We remain headquartered in Dubai and will continue to support our clients across the region without disruption. Under our founder-led structure, ecap is well-positioned to accelerate growth and double down on our mission to deliver high-impact leadership solutions across emerging markets.

Thank you to all our clients, partners, and colleagues who have supported us so far. The best is yet to come.
