We are pleased to announce the promotion of Samir Solanki to Partner in Charge, where he will lead and further strengthen our Executive Search business while playing a central role in advancing our coaching and leadership development offerings.

Since joining ecap, Samir has consistently demonstrated exceptional client commitment and a clear ability to operate at the intersection of talent, leadership, and organisational impact. His work has shaped key client relationships, delivered high-quality search outcomes, and expanded how we support leaders beyond appointment into long-term performance and growth.

Driving Impact Across Leadership and Talent

In his new role, Samir will take responsibility for the strategic direction and operational leadership of our Executive Search practice. He will also work closely with the broader partnership to scale our coaching and leadership development capabilities, ensuring clients receive integrated support across the full leadership lifecycle – from identification and assessment to development and transformation.

Samir Solanki commented: “I’m delighted to take on this role and continue working with our team to strengthen leadership and drive lasting results for our clients.”

Founding Partners: Daniel Murphy & Chris Abreu

Alongside this development, Daniel Murphy and Chris Abreu will transition to the titles of Founding Partners, overseeing firmwide activities, guiding strategic direction, and supporting the continued evolution of ecap’s platform across our distinct service lines.

These changes reflect both individual contribution and our ongoing commitment to strengthening the firm’s leadership structure as we scale. Samir’s collaborative approach, rigour, and commitment to excellence – together with Daniel and Chris’s continued stewardship – position ecap strongly for its next phase of growth.
