Maria has over 25 years cross-cultural experience in Human Resources Strategic Management in matrix organizations across Europe, Middle East, Africa region. 

Maria supports leaders, teams and organizations in successfully managing the challenges of the VUCA environment like developing leaders, building effective performance virtual teams and promoting Growth Mindset Culture. She designed HR Strategies that ensure strategic alignment between business and HR she also managed and developed multi-cultural virtual teams in EMEA region.

Maria’s has more than 2,500 coaching hours in the last 9 years and her main coaching approach is to create a safe and trusting environment that supports her in challenging her client’s thinking. She uses different tools to assess competencies and create self-awareness and to enable setting clear coaching goals that can help the client to get the best long-term value. Maria is particularly effective with executive leaders who want to enhance their strategic thinking and leadership presence in VUCA environment and be able to share their vision with their teams, resolve conflicts, be more creative and innovative, improve their emotional intelligence and develop high performance teams.

She has held regional and global positions in international companies including Group Head Organizational, Learning and Talent Development in J&P, Global HR Director in Vision and EMEEA Training & Development Manager in Nielsen. She was leading the Talent Acquisition function in NCR for MEA region and additionally, she has previously worked with PriceWaterHouseCoopers as an Executive Leadership Trainer and Mentor on a European project.

Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Insurance Studies from University of Piraeus, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (MBA) from MIM, and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Middlesex University. Maria is a Professional Certified Coach from the International Coach Federation (PCC, ICF), a Certified Team Coach , a certified assessor for several personality-behaviours-competencies assessment tools. She is a 4MAT certificated for designing Mastering Learning Solutions.
